PPP Guide Highlights Presentation

This session launched the STDF Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) Guide for Improved SPS Systems and Safe Trade Facilitation. It presented key findings and insights from the Guide, which unpacks the why, the what and the how of PPPs aimed at facilitating safe trade.

The STDF PPP Guide was developed in collaboration with the PPP Practitioner Group, and interviews with STDF partners, donors and diverse public and private sector stakeholders involved in PPPs across Africa, Asia, the Pacific, and Latin America and the Caribbean. It is complemented by PPP case stories on the STDF website.

The session featured a presentation by the author of the Guide, Dr Peter Stanbury, followed by a short panel discussion and Q&A, providing participants with an opportunity to engage with the content and discuss its implications for the future of SPS capacity building.
