Good Regulatory Practices

Regulatory practice ensures that SPS measures are transparent, science-based, and aligned with international standards. It focuses on risk-based decision-making and stakeholder engagement, creating a fair and predictable regulatory environment.
Good regulatory practices (GRPs) improve compliance and reduce unnecessary trade barriers. By fostering accountability and promoting good governance, smart regulation supports stronger SPS systems and facilitates safe trade.
