Sources of Technical Cooperation

Sharing information on past, present and planned technical cooperation activities are central to the work of the STDF. The STDF Secretariat seeks to identify as accurately and completely as possible SPS-related technical assistance flows.

Its point of departure is to harvest data from various sources, databases and submissions by Members to the WTO SPS Committee.

In addition to the quantitative reporting on SPS activities, the STDF Secretariat also collects qualitative information from partners and donors – for example training materials, national or regional SPS action plans and experiences in the implementation of projects from both donors and beneficiaries.
