As a result of in-country surveys, reviews of existing SPS capacity evaluations undertaken by STDF partners and PPG implementation, the STDF has compiled information on SPS constraints in developing countries and their technical assistance needs to overcome them. The country and regional level briefings below were prepared as part of the study presented at the LDC Ministerial Conference on Aid for Trade on 19-20 November 2008 in Siem Reap, Cambodia (jointly organized by WTO and UNIDO), the regional consultations held in Central America, East Africa and a Greater Mekong Delta sub-region and other Aid for Trade activities.
